Jana Kramer is re-living a traumatic experience as she reveals her first husband tried to kill her. Kramer hardly knew her husband, after two weeks together they got married. She quickly learned that he was not the man she thought he was. At first she felt safe, but the abuse escalated quickly. When she tried to leave, he would chock her, yell at her, or threaten her dogs and kick her out. “Kramer explained to PEOPLE why she has remained tight lipped about her past until now.”
