Several players across the league united in solidarity with their teammates and friends during the national anthem during the first week of NFL games. Opening Sunday comes a week after a video emerged of Seattle Seahawks defensive end Michael Bennett being detained by Las Vegas police. Bennett remained seated during the national anthem, his teammates surrounded him, and his brother held his fist high in honor.
