Andre Ward Announces Retirement from Boxing

Undefeated light heavyweight champion Andre Ward announced his retirement from boxing Thursday at the age of 33.  Ward released a statement on his official website, saying he no longer had the desire to continue fighting.  Ward’s professional record stands at 32-0 with 16 wins by way of knockout.
