On Monday, December 4, Meek Mill request to be released on bail was denied by Judge Genece Brinkley. Meek’s bail request was reportedly shut down by the controversial judge because she views him as a “danger” to the community and flight risk. Reports also state that Judge Brinkley suggested Meek may have used a detox capsule to pass his drug test. Meek’s attorneys have since asked Judge Brinkley to recuse herself from the case, but to no avail.
