Kodak Black is switching things up; the rapper, who’s currently serving 364 days in prison after being convicted on gun and marijuana charges last month, has changed his legal name. A Florida judge permitted Kodak to change his name from Dieuson Octave to Bill K. Kapri. Kodak’s lawyer Bradford Cohen says that, in the face of his current troubles, Kodak was simply looking for a new beginning. Cohen also says that the child services investigation against Kodak has been dropped after police investigated the situation that found his son at the scene when they discovered weed and gun ammunition in Kodak’s house this past January. Kodak has also been getting GED tutoring since he’s been behind bars.
