R. Kelly has addressed his critics in a new video that’s sure to cause controversy. A Facebook Live video attributed to retired NBA star Antoine Walker contains the controversial singer stating it was “too late” to silence him; the video has since gone viral since it was first posted on May 18. Since last July, Kelly has received several accusations of sexual misconduct, including running a sex cult and knowingly infecting a woman with herpes. As a result, the #MuteRKelly movement has emerged, with Spotify, Apple and Pandora removing Kelly’s music from their playlists. The movement has also asked RCA and Ticketmaster to drop him. In the video, Kelly tells a crowd, “It’s too late, they shoulda did this sh*t 30 years ago. It’s too late. The music has been injected into the world. OK?”
