ZZ Top’s Billy Gibbons is planning on releasing the follow-up to 2015’s Perfectamundo this year, and hinted that a new Moving Sidewalks album could also appear. He and his backing band the BFGs, featuring Martin Guigui, Mike Flanigan, Alex Garza and Greg Morrow, launched Perfectamundo in 2015, which took on many Cuban influences. The new album, GIbbons says, will be a return to his blues roots. ZZ Top, meanwhile, will head out on the Blues And Bayous tour with John Fogerty through the end of June across the US.
