2 Chainz took to social media to reveal that his new album Rap Or Go To The League will be out on March 1st — and will be A&Rd by none other than LeBron James.
2 Chainz teased a clip of an in-depth conversation between him and LeBron about their collaborative effort on Instagram. The full interview will be available to watch exclusively on Apple Music.
According to a press release, the title Rap Or Go To The League “challenges the notion that the only way out of the inner city is either to become a rapper or a ball player.” Apparently, the intent behind the LP is “celebrating black excellence and focusing on the power of education and entrepreneurship.”
