Krystal Kenney is spending the next three years in prison for her role in Kelsey Berreth’s death.
Her sentence was announced Tuesday.
Fourth Judicial District Attorney Dan May says there are mixed feelings about the sentence which was part of a plea agreement.
Kenney was the star witness during Patrick Frazee’s murder trial in 2019 which ultimately resulted in a guilty verdict.
Kenney testified she helped clean up Berreth’s condo in 2018 after Frazee murdered his ex-fiancee.
She also admitted to taking Berreth’s cell phone to Idaho in an attempt to cover up the murder.
Frazee is serving a life sentence, but has since appealed.
