El Paso County Search and Rescue is getting a new tool to help them find lost and missing people.
The group has purchased a drone with a thermal camera that will allow them to conduct searches at night.
The drone cost $3,500 and was paid for through fundraisers and donations.
It?s already been used once this year and the group expects the drone to be used on a weekly basis to help with searches or for training.
