The project will be written and executive produced by Jed Elinoff and Scott Thomas, who are behind the Disney Channel comedy spinoff, Raven’s Home. The original Wizards of Waverly Place series ran from 2007 through 2012, co-starring David Henrie and Jake T. Austin.
