UMC Club Hockey has three named to All-Region team

The University of Minnesota Crookston Golden Eagle Club Hockey team had three players named to the ACHA’s Central All-Region Team.

Mason Romfo (Fr., F, Langdon) and Alexander Bailey (Jr., Crosby, N.D.) were named to the Central Region First team. Anthony Foster (Soph. Warroad) was named to the Central Region third team.

Romfo, who led the Golden Eagles in scoring and was tied for second in the ACHA, finished the year with 30 goals and 66 points. In Regionals, Romfo had one goal and four points in the three games played.

Bailey, who was fourth in the ACHA with points by a defenseman with 39 and second in the Central.

Foster, who was second on the Golden Eagles in points with 54, finished as the 15th highest scorer in the ACHA. Foster has now scored 106 points in just 58 games played as a Golden Eagle.
