The Red Lake County Rebels are making their first trip to the Minnesota State Boys Basketball tournament and will take on the Goodhue Wildcats on Thursday, March 20 at Target Center at 5:00 p.m..
Red Lake County is 29-2 on the year after beating Kittson County Central in the Section 8A championship 68-40 and will make its first state tournament appearance.
Goodhue is the Section 1A champion and 22-8 on the year after beating Rushford-Peterson 84-79 in the section championship game. Goodhue is making its sixth state appearance with previous trips in 2004, 2011, 2016 Class A Runner-up, 2017, and 2024.
