Mizzou men’s basketball team plays at Ole Miss Saturday evening

The Missouri Tiger men’s basketball team will try to start 3-0 in Southeastern Conference play for the first time in school history Saturday evening, when they play Ole Miss in Oxford.

Dennis Gates’ Tigers are coming off big wins over defending national champion Florida and Kentucky. Missouri is now 12-3 and 2-0 in the SEC. They haven’t started 3-0 in conference play since 2000-2001, when they played in the Big 12.

Four Missouri players are averaging in double figures in scoring. They are Mark Mitchell, Jayden Stone, Jacob Crews and Anthony Robinson.

Saturday night’s game tips off at 5 at the Pavilion in Oxford. You can listen to the game on the Central Bank Tiger Radio Network from Learfield on Zimmer’s KCMQ (FM 96.7) and on KTGR (FM 100.5, 105.1 and AM 1580). Brad Tregnago and Chris Gervino have pregame coverage at 4:30. The game will also be televised on the SEC Network.
