The Sheriff’s department says Taylor allegedly burglarized a business on East St. Charles road on Wednesday morning and stole several items, including a rifle. He then allegedly tried to fraudulently cash a check on Buttonwood drive Wednesday afternoon before the nine-minute pursuit began. Authorities say Taylor struck another motorist’s vehicle at State Farm Parkway and Nifong during the chase. That motorist was not hurt, according to deputies.

Sheriff’s deputies say Taylor was captured at about 1:30 pm on Wednesday and that a rifle was also recovered.
