UPDATE: MoDOT, Missouri State Highway Patrol and National Weather Service to brief reporters Thursday about winter storm

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT), Missouri State Highway Patrol and the National Weather Service (NWS) have called a press conference for Thursday afternoon in Jefferson City, ahead of this weekend’s expected winter storm.

MoDOT director Ed Hassinger, NWS St. Louis warning coordination meteorologist Kevin Deitsch, Highway Patrol Captain Scott White and Missouri SEMA director James Remillard will brief reporters today at 2 in Jefferson City.

National Weather Service (NWS) St. Louis meteorologist Jared Maples tells 939 the Eagle that Columbia, Jefferson City and Boonville could see three to four inches of snow, but notes amounts will adjust between now and Saturday as models change.
