Dennis Gates’ Missouri Tiger men’s basketball team hosts Oklahoma in snowy Columbia on Saturday afternoon.
Missouri is 13-6 and 3-3 in the Southeastern Conference, after Tuesday night’s tough 74-72 last-second loss to #21 Georgia at home. Porter Moser’s Sooners are 11-8 and 1-5 in the SEC and have lost five straight games. Five Missouri players average in double figures led by senior Mark Mitchell, who averages 17 points a game.
Mizzou is hosting a canned food drive Saturday at Mizzou Arena to support the Food Bank for Central and Northeast Missouri.
Tipoff for Saturday’s game is set for 1 pm. You can listen to the game on the Central Bank Tiger Radio Network from Learfield on Zimmer’s KCMQ (FM 96.7) and on KTGR (FM 100.5 and 105.1 and AM 1580).
