The Bureau of Land Management is withdrawing several land parcels in Colorado from an upcoming sale of oil and gas leases.
14- square-miles of land in Mesa, Jackson, Moffat and Rio Blanco counties have been withdrawn from the March 26th sale.
The land taken out of the sale is part of an ongoing lawsuit over wildlife management that resulted in an injunction by a federal judge.
Oil and gas leases for about 48 square-miles of land in Jackson and Las Animas counties are still being offered for sale.
