SPEAKER 02 :
Judge Jeanine, she is the best talent box has. You know that's true.
SPEAKER 01 :
It's not. It is not?
SPEAKER 02 :
Thank you. You're welcome. No. Yes, it is.
SPEAKER 01 :
One of many. But listen, the fact is that former President Trump and soon to be present President Trump. agrees that you are the best in New York City. So we love you for that. And as it relates to Kenny Rogers, I love him, but I don't love him at 9 in the morning when I'm having a cup of coffee. So here's what we're going to do.
SPEAKER 02 :
I knew you were going to say that. So from now on, Justin.
SPEAKER 01 :
You're going to jazz it up.
SPEAKER 02 :
Yes. When you get Judge Jeanine on hold, you're going to ask her what song she wants so she can pole dance while she does this show. Okay. That's fine. You know who was on earlier today is one of your teammates, Jesse Waters. He was on 815 this morning about an hour ago. He's got a new book out. He's got his new book out.
SPEAKER 01 :
Get it together. Get it together. I know the book. He hasn't mentioned it on The Five or at Fox at all.
SPEAKER 02 :
He's not allowed. That's why he comes on my show.
SPEAKER 01 :
So he is. Let me tell you, it's a great book, and I read it. I said, I got to tell you, it is hysterical. He goes into the den of the left crazies, and he then analyzes them, which I think is pretty funny. It is funny. But we love Jesse.
SPEAKER 02 :
No, I love Jesse, too. He actually puts me on his show quite a bit. But we had a discussion about New York, and I brought up Mayor Eric Adams, and he said what most people say. You know, he's better than de Blasio, so what? He's got his heart in the right place sometimes, but he doesn't get it done. And he said, I'm ready to endorse my next candidate. And then he mentioned the name, and I'm going to tell you right now that I savaged this person for like two minutes. And then I put Curtis Slewa on with Jesse, live on the air, and surprised Jesse, promptly annoyed Jesse. But he tried to sell me Harold Ford Jr. I'm not buying, sorry. Nope.
SPEAKER 01 :
Look, you know, everybody on the five and including me thinks that Harold Ford would be a great candidate. Whether or not that's going to happen is another issue. My biggest concern is Andrew Cuomo coming back because of the name recognition in spite of his history that we all know about that we don't have to speak about right now. And, you know, some people need to just get a job. and stop worrying and stop expecting the public to sign their paychecks. But, you know, there are more important things to talk about. And I got to tell you, one of the things that is really disturbing about New York City and Eric Adams, and by the way, I don't give a damn where his heart is, if it's in the right place. What I care about is that New York City is becoming a hellhole. And the reason is that it's being overrun with crime, with immigrants, There is no order. There is no law enforcement. We've got an attorney general who's going after one of the biggest developers in New York City, and that is Donald Trump. She's looking to break him financially. And the message to everyone who wants to even consider doing business in New York is, we're going to take you down. You better not tee me off. And it is a frightening place for business. It is a bad place for family raising a family because of the crime, because of the non accountability and because there is no law and order. And in the end, between the economy, immigration and crime, we you know, we need someone on the right hand of the father to come down in one New York City, not someone who's weak, not someone who needs a political comeback because he has nothing better to do.
SPEAKER 02 :
And Andrew Cuomo is going to run, that's my opinion, and he's probably going to win, to your point. But I would ask you this. Is it as simple as, look, every blue state's in trouble, every one of them. All the things you just said about New York, it's also the case in Los Angeles, Philadelphia, Chicago, Atlanta, and they're all Democrat mayors and they're all Democrat governors. So is it as easy as you've got to find a way to get a Rudy Giuliani, a Republican to win, a Pataki, a Republican to win? Is that the cure-all here?
SPEAKER 01 :
Can I tell you something? It's as simple as that, and I'll tell you why. It's not about voting R versus voting D in terms of the, you know, that seems too simple. But what it is, it's about the fact that people who are Republicans believe in law and order. And where does that start? That starts with reinstating bail. That means that if you're arrested for something, we don't let you out five times until you finally kill someone. It means that you're accountable. It means that if you are a danger to the community, you stay in jail until your trial. It means that you don't get away with it because of the color of your skin. It means that there is accountability and consequence. And whether it's Hochul or whether it's Eric Adams or whether it's a D.A. Alvin Bragg, all three of them believe in this social justice reform that no one has ever defined for me. And that means that we're going to let everybody out. You know, we've got to have more compassion for the criminal. That's enough for me. It's enough for me and so many other people to move their families out of cities and where criminals have a privilege and the victims do not. And New York City is a sanctuary city. And I'm tired of Eric Adams saying, well, you know, maybe we should look into it. No, maybe you should end it, Mr. Mayor. Maybe American criminals should have the same right as illegal criminals. I never thought I'd hear myself say that. But I want the American criminals out if the illegals are out. You know, 14th Amendment, due process, equal protection. You know, it's baloney, and you're lucky I said baloney. You know, the business implications, the safety implications, it's all about the less sorry approach to law enforcement. They are taking us down a path where there's no turnaround unless we change it.
SPEAKER 02 :
You know, when Republicans run, I would just hammer this home, based on what you just said. I would just hammer this home. Explain to me, if you're the mayor, Eric Adams, who continues just on this show. He was on this show on Friday, literally four days ago, and told me that they've worked out this immigration policy with compassion, and they've done a good job, and the city is looking great. And the governor says the same thing. All you've got to do, Janine, is say, well, let me ask you this, Mayor Adams. Let me ask you this, Governor Hochul. Why are all these people leaving in huge numbers? They run out of the state like it's on fire. If everything was so great, why does everybody leave New York? Why?
SPEAKER 01 :
Well, you know what? They will not blame themselves. In fact, Sid, you'll recall in the last election, they said the crime was a figment of our imagination, that it's all about how we feel and not the reality.
SPEAKER 02 :
They use the word perception all the time. That's right.
SPEAKER 01 :
You're right. Yeah, perception. We're data deniers. Well, here's the bottom line. If you can't run a business because people are coming in and smashing the cases in your store, If you can't run a business because the police don't respond because you've defunded the police, then the tax base is leaving New York. And now what we've got is a city that is rife with crime. You can sugarcoat it all you want, but at the end of the day, everybody knows what they need to live here. The business implications are the political implications, the safety implications, the economy. Why don't we give American veterans, why don't we give senior citizens a credit card with $10,000 on it? Why don't we give veterans a free rent in a hotel? Why aren't we doing that? Now we've got Trendy Aragua, which is this gang from Venezuela, and we've got MS-13 joining forces in New York City. We've got people being shot. There's subways underground moving. You can't get out of those subway cars, and crime is being committed like crazy. And so what does Hochul do? She sends the National Guard to check everybody's bags. Forty-eight hours later, a guy shoots someone with a gun. Actually, they take his gun and shoot him in the head. And 24 hours later, someone is pushed in front of a chair in front of the train, and she loses both of her legs, not just her feet, her legs. So they don't know what they're doing. This is not rocket science, Sid. This is about accountability. 30% of crimes that relate to larceny are attributable to one group of people. If we put those people in jail, we've knocked down part of the crime in New York City. It's just off. The whole thing is crazy. And I'm tired of it, and so are New Yorkers.
