I needed to vent today. Sure there are many policy issues where I disagree with former NSA director John Bolton. But when you spend a total of three or four hours with anyone, you get a sense of their character. In the dispute over the veracity of his unpublished book, to choose between a man who, according to the Washington Post, has told over 17,000 lies since the beginning of his presidency and a man with integrity, respect, and honesty, how could anyone bet on the former?
