A small fire erupted Sunday night at the Root Beer Stand in Oglesby, but the owner said she put it out with a fire extinguisher.
Owner Elena Ridley confirmed Monday that she put out the fire. Oglesby firefighters were summoned, but the incident was under control when they arrived.
There was no damage. Normal operations will resume on Tuesday, as the restaurant is closed on Mondays.
